ACADEMY OF BALLET

Season 2010-2011 annual recital will be Rapunzel. All students will have the opportunity to perform in this wonderful production held at Tucson Convention Center’s Music Hall Sunday, May 29 with a dress rehearsals on Friday, May 27 & Saturday, May 28. Each student purchases and keeps his/her own costume (approx. $45 - $85). To cover the cost of the theatre rental, programs, etc., a fee will be charged to each family ($60) choosing to participate.

All students who participate in the Intensive Summer Workshop will have an opportunity to perform. This informal demonstration, held at Tucson Convention Center Thursday, June 30, allows the students to demonstrate the quality of technique achieved during the intensive workshop. Classic leotards purchased by the students (approx. $18 - $30) may be worn for the demonstration and daily class.

A SOUTHWEST NUTCRACKER CHILDREN'S AUDITIONS

In December, Tucson Regional Ballet will once again present A Southwest Nutcracker. Children are invited to audition. A nominal performance fee per dancer is charged, if selected, to be a participant. For more detailed information about children’s auditions please telephone 886-1222.
